mlpcon.info is an archival project to proliferate the "Pony Con Sheet of Doom", as well as to provide a convenient way to check the current and future pony conventions.

The coventions are tracked via an easy-to-digest Google Sheet . Everybody are welcomed to contribute by making suggestions.

You can make a suggestion by filling the Submission Form and have it reviewed.

We are still looking for helps to expand the database. If you are willing to assist with either data entry or moderation, please reach out to us.

Conventions come in all shape and sizes. We tend to be malleable when it comes to defining what constitutes a convention, but we generally look for certain characteristics. We judge whether an event is a convention based on the following criteria:

Generally:

• The event must be a public gathering of fans of the My Little Pony franchise.
• The event must have a schedule of activities, such as panels, workshops, or performances.
• The event must have a website or social media presence that provides information about the event.
• The event must have a clear organizer or host, as well as a proper staffing structure typical of professional events.
• The event might allow vendor booths or sales of merchandise.

If the convention is an in-person event:

• The event must rent a physical location, such as a convention center, hotel, or community center. A gathering in a public space does not qualify.
• The event must have a registration process for attendees, such as ticket sales or pre-registration.

If you are unsure whether your event qualifies as a convention, please reach out to us and we will review your submission.

The API can be accessed in /api/api.json. There is a 30 requests per 10 seconds rate limit.

You can filter the API by adding query parameters, such as:

• ?year= - Filters by year
• ?name= - Filters by name
• ?continent= - Filters by continent

For example:

• /api/api.json?year=2024&continent=EU will return all conventions in Europe in 2024.
• /api/api.json will return all conventions without any filter.

There's a specialized API to show future and current conventions in /api/current.json. All filter queries above are supported.
